Hard to argue with any of your choices.

The only changes I make is switching Chris Parsons for Benny Sapp and Darin Heideman for Jamar Thompson.

Don't know that I would include Sinkfield. Yeah he was fast but his numbers really weren't all that impressive and his impact off the field wasn't exactly what one might call a positive influence.

Farley did start in 2001, a lot of NFL players / All Americans from 01' to 03' not on that list that should probably replace non All Americans / NFL players...

P Derrick Frost (All American / 6 year NFL career/ probably 10 kickoffs in his career that WERENT touchbacks)
OL Chad Setterstrom (2 Time All American / 2 year NFL career / 3 year AFL career back when AFL meant something)
WR Marlus Mays (All American / Probably best 3rd down receiver in UNI history)
K Mackenzie Hoambrecker (Arguably the most clutch person to ever wear a Panther Uniform. 60 yard range, 25/28 season, 6 game winners / tie'ers inside a minute left / OT, bounced around training camps / practice squads in NFL for 5 years)

i'm sure there are more from every year that are deserving, those are just ones that stood out.

Jeg I couldn't remember if Marlus Mays was during the Farley era, he would replace Sinkfield then.

I can agree with you on Hoambrecker and Frost also but I still remember the one year that Brook Black punted for UNI it seemed like everything was downed inside the 5.

There have been many great O Lineman, 3 of them have spent significant time in the NFL, and I think Kruger could as well, Stiechen was a good center that is why he was placed on the list.

Jeg any preference on the long snapper should be?

Some other early players.....TE Ryan Hannam played in the League for a while and WR Jake Soliday should make the list, if only for punching that Montana guy in the nads.

Eddie Galles. The 2003 SIU game is enough reason to get the guy a mention.

Wasn't directed at me, but as far as long snappers go I would vote Hubbard or Matsen. Both equally consistent for some of UNI's best kickers.

Not sure if this is in the Media Guide or not, but Chris Parsons has to hold the school (if not FCS) record for Career Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalties. Back of the napkin math, probably averaged 2.5 per game.

My ALL Time favorite player is Ryan Doak. Last home game in 2000 vs Western Illinois we lost 44-41 on a very long field goal. A couple of plays before they kicked I saw him standing at the 50 and he was throwing up thru his facemask. The kid gave everything he had that game. Classic football back in the day.

There's something you may not know. Or maybe you do and are sucking up.

We've been blessed with some really good kickers, but Mac was the best. He'd still be setting NFL records if he didn't kick with the wrong foot.

One of my 3 players on the team, that were kicked off the team before their career was over

David Horne was a stud, would be my 3rd back, but I think C Lew and DJ are better.
