  • SDSU Part 2

Round 2 of the playoffs, the Sweet Sixteen!
I'm not thrilled about the regular season but I am stoked to be in the position we are in.

    Brookings, SD 2:00PM Kickoff

Dunne hasn't thrown an interception since October. Last time in Brookings Weymiller got 42 carries for 170 yds and two touchdowns.

Not an easy game by any means, but winnable. Glad to have a nice path in the playoffs.

I'll take this over a trip to Fargo.

It's a better match up for us.

It'll take a heck of an effort...but a winnable game. We're playing really well right now and getting healthier.
Winning is more fun than losing.

Anybody going to round 2? I'm looking at going to game.

I'll go on record and say this one closely resembles the first one.

Weather forecast looks good. Partly sunny, with a high of 46.

I think the game will be closer than the last time and we won't rely heavily on Weymiller. Still look for a UNI win 27-20.

According to the e-mail I received today, the tickets are $30 each. Boy, those who complained about paying $20 last Saturday will really be griping now! Who sets the prices? The NCAA? Or is it just because it's the second round of the play-offs that it costs more?

              • #8
Well the game is at SDSU so they set the prices.

The NCAA has a rule that you can’t sell playoff tickets at any price lower than your cheapest regular season ticket price.

                  I was shocked at 27-47.

30 is like a mid level point...they have some tix in the $40's...some in the $20's...then less expensive if you're a group of 20 or more. I'll be interested to see what the actual gate is but i've heard hotel rooms are hard a little hard to come by but i think their basketball team is home too.

not sure what to think of this game. I really like the way our team is playing but we'll need to play at a high level.

Weather sounds great. Still on the fence about going. I think it will be a great, close game.

Yes, thinking very strongly of going. Do we leave Friday after work and stay in Sioux City or Sioux Falls? What's the tailgating situation up there. PSC letter indicated they will try to seat the UNI fans together. I doubt the Rabbits would have a large crowd. Do we come all the way home after game or stay somewhere along the way?

The Hard Rock casino/hotel in Sioux City is a nice stop over for the trip to Brookings.

I doubt we'll have few Panther fans at the game. SDSU is charging $30 per ticket with a $5 fee per order. You can purchase through the UNI ticket office. Some on this board thought $20 plus fees was too much for our first round game and then you have to travel! WOW. Way to much! We should be paid for going to this game!

For the eight playoff games for this Saturday, general admission ticket prices range from $12 up to $18. Reserved tickets for the games run from $20 up to $60 for club seating at Jacksonville State. Looks to me that there are tickets available for all games and a good average price for a reserved ticket runs about $30.
