Drake went to Eastern Washington and beat them in OT. Absolutely nuts. That is not an easy place to play as we know. I don't like praising Drake, but their football program has had some impressive performances the last few years.

YSU put 59 points on the Valpo team we scored 35 on last weekend.

I've been trying to cope with our performance against St Thomas by remembering that Drake hung with Iowa State during that COVID year when ISU needed one more win to be bowl eligible, or that plenty of inferior teams hang with top-tier FBS teams every once in a while. But this Drake vs EWU game is blowing my mind. I know EWU football has had a similar trajectory as UNI football recently, but I never would have thought Drake could do this - more impressive to me than how they played that Iowa State game.
