Can someone update us on Carlton Reed's status? How many, if any, minutes will he see tonight? What's the reason behind his lack of PT post-injury? I've read where he feels ready, but that Jake wants him to get more into the flow of things on D. I know this was discussed in another thread, but any updates/info are appreciated.

Let's start 2-0 in Valley play. Drake and Illinois State look MUCH improved and ready to compete this year. A 2-0 start would be great.

Sorry, I got nothin' on Reed.

I hope he plays tonight because like you, I heard he's been ready for a while. But that's all. I just "heard", nothing concrete.

Matt Coss from the Courier was on with Gary Rima's sports show tonight. He said the Coach and Reed for some time on Sunday. Reed asked Coach what he has to do to get playing time. Apparently he is not going playing time do to his defense and that is what he really needs to work on in order to get on the court. Apparently he's also had his best two practices of the year on Sunday and Monday so is expected to get some playing time tonight.

We're playing lots of subs. Hopefully we can wear them down in the second half because they do not have much depth.
