Adam Koch conference Scholar-Athlete of the week

ST. LOUIS – University of NorthernIowa junior Adam Koch has been selected the Prairie Farms/Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week, Commissioner Doug Elgin announced today. Koch was honored for his performance during the period of January 5-11.

Almost EVERY one of them...it's just that, unless cases like this, you only hear about the ones that are flunking out or getting in trouble. Doesn't mean that 99% of them aren't doing the right thing on a daily basis.

Nice profile of Adam & Kerwin D. on PST a week ago. Got to meet KD's dad at the game Sat. I was talking to the B-F principal (Skip Anderson - a classmate of mine) after the BB alumni gathering, and he introduced me. I also sit close to the Kochs - a family of professionals. They are real nice. Have met the 8th grade brother & Adam's girlfriend Kim W. - who seems to be working out just fine for Tanya Warren's team. All good people.

Decent, but not unusual height for an 8th grader.

Have not met the daughter.
