    Re: ISU (red) at UNI

I'd like to see UNI continue to try to push it in transition. ISU may be more athletic, but UNI is deeper. Those 30+ minute games consecutively have to be starting to wear on their guards. Get Koch the ball early and often, start his drives from the top of the key to the FT line and then get some buckets or fouls. Big Jordan should have plenty of opportunities to go one on one, and if they do double (which I don't think they will due to UNI's 3 point shooting---maybe they would early on to see if shots are falling), he can kick out or do his pass fake and hit Koch/O'Rear on the dive.

Johnny and Ali need to be ready to take plenty of charges as this is an area that needs to be solidified early on. Get out to the McLeod tomorrow night. I want a lively and loud crowd!
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

Defense is what will win this game. We should be able to score enough to win, but can we keep ISU from scoring more? We'll need a full game effort for this game - 30 minutes won't do it.

the suck part of the cheerleaders Yooooouuu chant after a foul, usually still resides, and used to be followed by Balls (and not basketballs), or the female word for genitalia. It has simmered down this year I believe though. The Iowa State game was horrible though.

This game has the makings for a final second finish! You have Ill state who in my mind is the most athletic team in the valley, going against the BIGGEST team in the valley. I hope UNI slows the pace down and forces Ill State to play the full 35 sec on Defense! If UNI slows the game down and plays to their strengths they will win. If they try and run & gun with Ill state, we are in trouble! I really look for a very close game, where FT's will decide the fate of the game!

Here's the way the Bloomington-Normal Pantagraph sees things:

              http://www.pantagraph.com/articles/2...b802194671.txt

Some of quotes appearing in the Pantagraph also appear in today's Courier, but this one doesn't:

“They’re really good at every position and their chemistry is great,” said ISU coach Tim Jankovich. “There’s not a guy you don’t like when you watch them, and it all fits together.”

He seems genuinely impressed (to quote the article, "unbelievably impressed"). And why not?

Do you mean west side suites, alumni suite (north) or east side area above the concourse?

I was told east side suites and to enter at the SE entrance. So, I would guess they meant the east side above the consourse. Do they rent this area for hospitality type events?

The east side is one large open area - it has been used for various hospitality events.
The west side has several smaller suites, some have been purchased others can be rented -
There is a complete view of the court from either side

Thanks for the info. I hope the food and drink are good. View of court should be ok; though these old tired eyes like to get closer to the action.

The east side might almost be a better view since people can spread out along the railing.

"Ben Jacobson recorded his 50th career win Sunday, becoming just the second UNI coach to reach that mark in his third season. Stewart was the other."

Let's hope he makes it 51 tonight
