Drake-Evansville finish

[Newshound]

Did anyone see that finish to Drake-Evansville? Cedar Rapids Kennedy grad Kaylon WIlliams made a halfcourt shot at the buzzer to beat Drake, 65-62. Drake led for about the entire game, but let Evansville hang around.

GOod effort for the Aces, particularly after the loss to Wichita State in the final seconds Sunday, and having a 13-hour bus ride to Des Moines. They couldn't fly out of E'ville because of weather.

Ha ha... wow, thats funny to think about. Try telling that to someone that doesnt understand sports: "Uh, yeah, this team lost but they never trailed for a single second DURING the game."

Interesting.
