I was looking at the Bracketology and saw that 2 MVC teams were in and even though we are were tied for the regular season champs they still have Creighton 2 seeds higher then what we are in the latest one. Just seems like we can never get any respect in this damn world

Re: ESPN Bracketology
Creighton being higher than us is a no-brainer at this point.Originally posted by paMANther View PostI was looking at the Bracketology and saw that 2 MVC teams were in and even though we are were tied for the regular season champs they still have Creighton 2 seeds higher then what we are in the latest one. Re: ESPN Bracketology
I really don't get what everyone's problem with ESPN is? Who cares if they have called us NIU, or called Koch cock. There are 347 college basketball teams that they cover, they are bound to make some mistakes.Originally posted by williebat View PostI am glad even those idiots at espn see that crieghton is an at large.

COme on we are consistently in the top 100 RPI if not top 80. At least they could get our name correct.Originally posted by ryan19 View PostI really don't get what everyone's problem with ESPN is? Re: ESPN Bracketology
the valley is down this year, UNI had some bad losses. we are lucky to even be getting acknowledged to be in the tournament at this point. creighton had a much better season and it shows with their record. let's just win the valley tournament so we're guaranteed a spot.Originally posted by paMANther View PostI was looking at the Bracketology and saw that 2 MVC teams were in and even though we are were tied for the regular season champs they still have Creighton 2 seeds higher then what we are in the latest one. We are not getting acknowledged we are put in as a placeholder or tourney winner goes here since we are the number 1 seed they use our name.Originally posted by PantherATC View Postthe valley is down this year, UNI had some bad losses. we are lucky to even be getting acknowledged to be in the tournament at this point. creighton had a much better season and it shows with their record. let's just win the valley tournament so we're guaranteed a spot.
We have to win the tourney to get an NCAA spot no question.
Creighton better get an at large or something is wrong.
Whatever happens from here on out I have really enjoyed panther basketball in 2009. It has been awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: ESPN Bracketology
As of Sunday morning, Joey Brackets had CU out. On ESPN Radio he described Creighton's situation as though they had laid the biggest egg and will be having it sit in the corner for 8 days to smell. He said their timing of losing and the margin of the loss is huge.

Re: ESPN Bracketology
I saw a former committee member the other day say margin of victory doesnt play a role in their decisions. However, I am not sure I believe that. It seemed like that may have kept ISU out last year, since there really wasnt another good reason to keep them out last year.Originally posted by DrewDog View PostAs of Sunday morning, Joey Brackets had CU out. Except for the fact that they had zero wins against the rest of the field.Originally posted by ceaser150 View PostI saw a former committee member the other day say margin of victory doesnt play a role in their decisions.
