The team landed safely in Portland a few hours ago. Among the plane's passengers: Theresa McDermott and the kids. Coach Mac flew out separately but will be in Portland with the Panthers. That's awesome.

'ceptin' for one thing. It's been stated and stated again what close friends Mac and Jake are. Think of it as one friend supporting another. Don't consider who is employed by whom. I like to make a few flip and smartarse comments about Mac, but I do think it is a good thing that the MacDermott's accompanied Jake and the team on this trip.
These two guys go way back. I'm sure it's a satisfying moment for both to enjoy this event. There are a select few times in life where you just have to enjoy the moment and acknowledge what you've accomplished through a life's work. This will be one of those moments.
Just don't let Mac near the bench during the game. I don't want to see that Georgetown gameplan anywhere near the Panthers timeout huddle. (!#@$, I couldn't help myself.)Winning is more fun than losing.Comment
