    Missouri Valley vs. SEC

    Creighton is playing Kentucky for the first time since 1940 and it's in Omaha on ESPN. Sounds like a good game but they'll have to do better than this...

    They said they only had 500 tickets left as of 10am today, so we'll see how an SEC team does in a sold out Qwest Center, granted Kentucky is kind of down this year.

    At the half Creighton is up 33-31.

      Woodfox misses an open three at the buzzer and UK wins 65-63.

        The refs sure seemed to favor Kentucky the second half. However, if Creighton hits free throws, they win. The cannot blame the refs for missing free throws.

          The next question should be, is this P'Allen's last game as a Creighton Bluejay?

          I liked his post-game handshakes....or lack thereof.

            I saw that. He just darted off the floor right as the buzzer sounded.

            If he does leave, it could be good for us and the rest of the Valley. And probably good for Creighton too...

                The flagship radio station for Creighton talk show has discussed his situation at times during the course of this season. He and Altman don't always see eye to eye as to how the team should function. Apparently P'Allen feels it should center on him and Altman wants more of a team diversification. It has been speculated on this show that this indeed may be P'Allen's last year. To me it looks like he is trying to adjust to Altman's philosophy of which you have two choices, "you can do it my way or you can do it my way."

                  Can't stand P'Allen, however, him disrupting that locker room for the next year or two could help us out.

                    Yeah, I didn't think much of the officiating, but Creighton can't blame anyone else for not being able to hit a damn free throw to save their life when it counts.
