Our road win over Iowa State has to help, and their subsequently playing #25 Cal. Another help was DePaul playing at Vanderbilt yesterday. Vandy is a good team, and should flirt with being ranked off and on this year.
It's still too early for RPI to be meaningful, but being #12 sure doesn't hurt.Comment

BC leads Miami by 6 at the half. Odd to see a conference game this early in the season. Miami was 8-0 coming into today so this would be a nice win for BC.Comment

All the road games really helps, too. It will go down this week win or lose with the home games. Iowa, North Dakota, and Wyoming will do some damage to our ranking even if we win.Comment

this is why i am a big fan of playing some of the "cupcake" games at a nearby neutral site, like WF Arena, if the hit in revenue can be minimized.Comment

Three MVC teams listed in the also getting votes in the AP poll, including UNI getting 1 vote (25th place). Others are MO ST & ILL ST. No MVC teams in the USA Today/ESPN poll.Comment
