Re: Ranked?
Of the 37 teams ranked ahead of us, notice how many are from WEST of the Mississippi. I count eleven (29.7%). Of those eleven, about 1/3 of them are traditional powers and media darlings that voters write in without thinking (Kansas, Texas, Gonzaga). ESPN doesn't do their homework - we all know that - they look at the east coast first, then slowly work their way westward when considering worthy teams to talk about/rank. I'm much more concerned with how the Panthers do in the Valley & Valley tournament, where they are seeded in the NCAAs, and how they do in that tourney than any discussion of rankings. That's the great thing about rankings in college basketball - they mean diddly poo to determine a champion, as long as you win six games in March, and the seeds for the tourney look pretty heavily weighted in the RPI (where we are 25th right now and climbing)

, it gets us some more recognition. The bandwagon always has room for more!
