Is it a three day suspension or three game? If it is three games,Does Jordan get to choose which game(s)? Does it have to be three in a row? I know, I know....dumb question probably. Who was the suspender was it Coach or the AD or other?

University policy, 10% of games. 3 games in a row.
"I think they're very good," Farley said of the preseason top 25 Hawkeyes. "But so are we."

3 game suspension...3 day would be stupid. It was student-athlete policy and both AD and Coach agreed.

So, so far the Coach has not issued any punishment? When the three game suspension is over will the coach have a list of things Jordan must do in order to be back on the team or is all forgiven?

          Re: Suspenders

I am sure jacobsen will have some stuff for jordan to do. Possibly some community service and what not.

I have known in other cases the coaches have mandated that the player stays out of bars or has a curfew set in place. I don't think Jacobsen will do that, I bet he just talk to jordan about his decision and lets him know anything more, will result in dismissal from the team. That is a good thing about UNI, they run a very clean program. No one is above the law and they treat all the athletes the same! Not like at other places where you can continue to screw up and they keep welcoming you back (Iowa)

I would support a punishment that would have his biggest supporter (SpanishMoon) start posting on shockernet.net instead of panthernation.com.

I know, how about everyone freaking one of them stay out of bars / clubs / restaurants / casino's, anywhere for the next month or so. It might seem like a lot to a college kid right now but will be well worth it the rest of their lives.

Are you including yourself in the "everyone" category? 'Cause that would really mess with the neat countdown thingy you've got going on. I'm getting an itinerary for the Lou put together.

I've never understood why this was so hard all the time. Can they not drink at home?

Here is what Jordan is going to have to do before being reinstated.

"And immediately, (P'Allen Stinnett's) Facebook status was spouting vulgarities towards the university."

Didn't a bunch of UNI athletes get in trouble a while back (year or two ago) for hosting a party with booze?
