Team

I know Ali's been getting major props. But the whole team deserves major credit. JE had a great first half. Sonnen had some major rebounds. Koch's played well. Moran hit some big 3's. Luke's the man. Wouldn't even be here without KA.

Standing Ovation for the whole team

Re: Team

I would say Kwadzo would be having a great tournament also. He is the only guy I trust dribbling the ball. He needs to shoot less and he would be perfect, too many quick shots.

Sonnen, J Koch and O'Rear were outstanding. The block Sonnen made on Collins was sweet

Re: Team

Great thread to post. Everybody played their part J Koch's charge take may have been more important the Ali's three. In any case, it made it that much sweeter

Re: Team

Per the NY Times article on Ali

Northern Iowa does not carry the players’ last names on the backs of their purple jerseys. Farokhmanesh says that is fitting, because it has been a team effort. He was surrounded by television cameras in the locker room Friday, but he could see over the bright lights.

“Look over there," he said, pointing to about a dozen of his teammates watching him. "They’re all laughing at me.”
