    jeg,

I am coming to town from Colorado. I have been told that there are hotels in Richmond Heights that are easily accessible to the light rail and the venue? I know ideally I would stay downtown but trying to make all of this happen quickly on a tight budget....'

    thoughts?

You are essentially looking at about 40 bucks more for your stay per night. If that. I would bet Richmond Heights is approximately a 15-20 cab ride from downtown (light rail quits at 11:00PM I believe (don't quote me on that). You are going to pay about $8 for an all day rail pass if not. If it is worth it to you to save 25-30 bucks that is cool, however, for my money, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to experience this the way it was meant to be experienced, partying with your favorite 20,000 friends from Tennessee, Michigan St, and Columbus will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

What you want depends on how you are coming. If it is with a family outside of downtown isn't that bad, a lot of good hotels in the surrounding towns. If you are looking to go out and have a good time down town stay there, cabs from down town to a "suburb" can easily run $50

I called the Hilton and they have a couple rooms at $209/night. Most of the hotels I called are full.

The priceline millennium looks like the best option.

The Millenium is a story of two hotels, North Tower (where a majority of the rooms are 1 bed-rooms (queen / king etc...) the south tower is tower with mostly two bed-rooms. The difference is that the North Tower is un-believably nice, the south tower is an average place.

my issue with priceline is that we have 4 people and priceline will only guarantee that the room has 2 person capacity. any suggestions?

With 4 people your right, priceline is not always the best way to go. I am surprised that Hotwire rooms haven't opened up yet, with Hotwire you can put in 4 adults and be guaranteed 2 doubles / queens.
