I just heard on the radio in a statement from Iowa State the Greg left to Creighton to have an opportunity to coach his son. It is official, Doug is a Bluejay.

I think if he had some success at ISU, Doug could have gone there. But adding the pressure of having your son on a bad team and then Dad getting fired wasn't attractive.

Please UNI, make him sit out two years as the MVC allows, do not allow him to play right away! This screw Jake with recruiting, now we have an open scholarship for who? Coach Mac should NEVER be allowed on campus again, he is no longer a Panther.

As fast as that was I'd guess Mac already got the green light from UNI. I'd like to think Mac has sent some of his ISU money UNI's way and will send some CU money UNI's way. No need to burn bridges even if it's BS.

Lucky for us we have the person who was clearly running the team from 2004-2006 coaching our team.

We will find someone to fill this scholarship who is better than Doug McDermott. Little Dougy is going to have nightmares of four trips to Cedar Falls.

Why the hell would UNI grant the release of Doug without a two year waiting period. We didn't burn the bridge, it is all the McDermotts doing. You reap what you sow! Damnit UNI, make him sit two years!
