Good win. Impressive effort by MSU.
Buss to the starting 5 is/was a no-brainer and it paid off today.
I wonder if Deon might be a little hobbled or sick today, he seemed a a little lethargic and a step slow today? (he still played ok).UNI FIGHT

I also noticed that he didn't drive to the lane very much today. I don't know if that was part of the gameplan or not.Originally posted by 06panther10 View PostGood win. Impressive effort by MSU.

Re: Up Next: Missouri State
A few things
1. Buss would have went for 40 if it wouldn't have been for 2 BS fouls that sent him to the bench
2. In all honesty I though Max Martino was the player of the game, yes hit some huge shots, but he is a great defender
3. I believe that Tut is 16 from 1000
4. Deon didn't have a great game, but seems to know when he has to be good, like the drive he had late
5. Paul Lusk is a cry baby, but I thought he was smart by fouling so soon, it was the only way they had any chance to win.

Re: Up Next: Missouri State
The TV announcers loved UNI. Shortly before halftime, they showed a video that started in the UNI-Dome, went through a door, down the hall, and finished in McLeod. They were talking about how great the facilities are, the players, the coaches, the fans, winning percentage at home, etc. It was really cool to hear.

Darn. Would have liked to have seen that.Originally posted by UNIdadtobe View PostThe TV announcers loved UNI. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."
