They don't have anything written on him, but still cool to see a Panther get mentioned!

Re: Tuttle get's mention in ESPN Wooden Watch
Another article that actually has some more info about Seth:
"Where Wooden credentials are concerned, Tuttle may suffer from what might be termed "category trouble." In theory, he's a 6-8 scoring wing, but he's also the proud owner of his slow-paced team's highest assist percentage. Moreover, Ron Baker's already firmly ensconced in the hoops imagination under the heading of "reliably super-effective Missouri Valley scorer."
Well, maybe there can be more than one of those. Tuttle entered this season as something of a specialized efficiency marvel, known and esteemed by hoops geeks but low-profile to the rest of the college basketball world. Then he went out and scored 29 points while handing Wichita State its first loss to a Valley opponent in nearly two calendar years. It's fair to say Tuttle's secret is out.
So let's praise this newly arrived star accurately, if we can. Tuttle's a monster in terms of paint scoring. In fact, given the spatial and temporal coincidences that apply here, I can't believe Fred Hoiberg didn't get his hands on Tuttle, because the Panther star's shot chart fits perfectly with what Iowa State does over in Ames. Per hoop-math.com, a remarkable 71 percent of Tuttle's shot attempts this season have come at the rim. No wonder he scores so effectively.
This season, Tuttle's carrying a heavier load within the Panthers' offense than ever before, yet he's still able to convert 64 percent of his frequent 2-point tries as well as 41 percent of his occasional 3s. Over the course of his career in Cedar Falls, he's shown a rather extraordinary ability to maintain the same (exceptional) level of effectiveness while taking on progressively weightier scoring responsibilities each season.
Now UNI's being projected as a No. 6 seed by my colleague Joe Lunardi. That would represent the highest seed ever given to a Panthers team, and in my estimation, Tuttle should arrive at that game as a Wooden nominee."John 3:16

...with the assumption that he would have gone to ISU? Keep in mind the Fred did recruit Morgan, offered him a scholarship, and he went to UNIOriginally posted by UNIChippewa View PostAs a dual fan I do wonder if Fred Hoiberg ever laments not recruiting Tuttle.

Re: Tuttle get's mention in ESPN Wooden Watch
Tuttle would fit in perfectly, since he's such a good passer and has a great feel for the game. Imagine him getting the ball down low or at the free throw line, with the option of either taking his man to the hoop or kicking out to an open shooter if they double him. Iowa State's open shooters. Lots of NBA offenses run the same kind of thing, and Iowa State seems pretty similar.Originally posted by UNIChippewa View PostAs a dual fan I do wonder if Fred Hoiberg ever laments not recruiting Tuttle.
