I have said the same thing. I wish after he graduates next year that he would just stay forever. His whole family is a great Panther family... and wonderful people, too!

Unheralded but the ISUb game AFTER the home WSU game did it for me. I feared a letdown and they just ripped the Sycs to shreds. Everything had been building to a crescendo a few days earlier but this was the game I truly knew it was a special season.

Two days later I'm still having trouble "getting over that its over." Not the loss per se. But what we've lost now that this team is done. Ah well. At least we have these memories!!

Re: Panther Nation's Best of the Best

Just when I had started to get over the sadness that this season has ended, I open the Courier to see some good articles by Carson Tigges. Some may have been posted elsewhere, but for anyone who doesn't get the Courier or think to go online, here they are. In the 2nd one I love what Ben has to say about the 5 seniors after college....

Did all that really happen in one season? That's like 10 years worth of cool stuff.
          That was an outstanding list.

It will be a tough act to follow. I hope we remember that next season if we lose some games we would have won this year. I'm sure Jake and the remaining players will do the best they can.

-Not losing a 12/5 game and shutting up the UNLV-wannabe fans.

            -Winning in the NCAA tourney.

Also agree to that whole huge list!

Personally, I was extremely gratified to see so many UNI games on channels I get without having to pay extra for sports channels. Also for All Access which I have been watching on YouTube.

My highlight down the road may be that I was DISAPPOINTED with a 5 seed? How absurd is that? In years past, even if we knew we were in, we would be praying for a single-digit seed, and we knew the whole tourney would be an uphill battle... But this year, the fact that a 5-seed was something of a let-down speaks to how good we all felt about the talent this team had.

I keep reading it - I don't why, but I do! Maybe for the occasional LOL when Newsy cracks a good one.

Coming back after a head scratching road loss against Evansville (blowing a good sized lead) to go on a huge winning streak. Beating ISUr 3 times and ISUs twice in the same season. Being ranked for a good portion of the season. Being on tv a lot. I miss it already.
