Some of those transfers make no sense. Where is Wells going to go (Since he's from Iowa)? He was playing good at the end of the year and was likely going to get a lot of playing time but I don't see a lot of demand. Is he going to go D2 or even lower D1?

I agree. This transfer epidemic is really concerning.

Weird thing for Wells since he was a redshirt junior this past season, he only has one year of eligibility. If he's graduating this spring, he can go grad school and play. Iowa State? Any other schools need an experienced post player to eat some minutes?

He wouldn't see a second at Iowa State, I am not sure he would have seen anytime at any school in the Valley other than Bradley.

Would run&blade want him here? He is a 7-footer.

Put him next to the big kid at Drake - twin towers!
Give us a yell, HO! The purple and the gold
                  Victory for U-N-I!

Find out what the other team wants to do, then take it away from them.

                      Re: Valley Transfers/Exits 2015 Edition

WSU announced three transfers this year. All were somewhat expected since we were over committed by 2 scholarships.

Corey Henderson, 3* freshman PG. Never really got it going. Will get it going somewhere.
Tevin Glass, 3* JUCO forward. Athletic and active. Looked lost all season.
Ri'an Holland, 2* red shirt freshman SG. Undersized at WSU.

Top 50 transfer Conner Frankamp has been unofficially confirmed as a walk-on for next year. We now have one open scholarship and we are known to be recruiting 4* JUCO wing Mychael Mulder (verballed in the fall, but then was told to wait). He is also considering an offer from Kentucky. We are also recruiting for an impact big, and even though several high level JUCOs are visiting, none appear to have an offer as of yet.

Reggie Lynch to Minnesota. Huge loss for the Redbirds and the MVC.

Seems like an odd deal. ISUr could be tourney team with him on it. I don't know about the gophers. They are still in rebuilding mode. They have an unproven coach who has yet to win consistently. Lots of questions. This seems like a big risk.

But best of luck to him. I am now officially rooting agianst the gophers for poaching MVC player. I can understand if he played for drake like Rice but the redbirds are on the rise. Maybe illinois budget cuts scared him off.

I think it brings him close(r) to home correct?

Could the cost of attendance change be a part of the equation? Also, being able to get to the NCAA tourney with a .500 conference record as a Power Conference team is definitely an easier path (on paper at least).

I hope that the MVC is not becoming a feeder league for the Big Ten.
