The shockers/fans are annoying. They don't hold a candle to the wonderful Bizzzon Nation.

It's all about your perspective and personal experiences. Every fanbase has crap fans and they always seem to be the loudest fans unfortunately.

Some of the worst treatment I have had in St Louis has been from a few UNI fans. Trash talking is a fun part of sports, but there are lines. However, I know that I can't label the whole fanbase off of those interactions. I go more on the program. And I respect the heck out of Jacobsen and most of the players that have come through. It has been sustained and done the right way. So for that you have earned my respect.

Of course there are exceptions. I have yet to have good interactions with a Creighton fan. So for that I despise them no matter what lol.

There used to be a good number of great Illinois St. fans on the message boards. Apparently they have been drowned out by a recent influx of morons. Shame, really. They were probably the best set of posters from one school, in the Valley.

I remember when Illinois State fans were about the only fan base that go along with Wichita as a whole. Now it's pretty hostile. I did meet an ok Creighton fan once. I was officiating an MAYB tournament and he was working the table for a team from NE. Although, when he found out I was a Wichita guy he stopped talking. Maybe he wasn't that ok....

I've never had many problems with UNI, but it is the only fan base I've ever had issues with in STL. But I'm not going to let a few bad apples ruin things. Most of my online interactions have been good and I think Jake is the 2nd best coach in the conference behind 3G and respect the hell out of him and what he's done there.

You hit the nail on the the head. Ditto on Creighton fans as well. I actually don't even might the Shockers. However, the wonderful Bizzonville clan has been at it form day one with every sport. It took them until 2011 to finally beat us in their first of five National FCS Football title run. Wake me up when their MBB wins a game in the Dance, we'll all be in Heaven.

It won't be much of a purple out and even if it was I don't anticipate a large WSU crowd given its a week night game and we are struggling. With that said half my closet is purple…the other half is what I wear for work so I will be in purple

I don't understand the lack of purple on one side. I wore a purple dress shirt to work today as I always do for a mid week game. And I wear a purple polo on casual Fridays every week that there is a fb or bb game on Saturday. Actually pretty much every Friday game or not.

Haha. I actually do have a large amount of purple in my work clothes as well. I have a UNI polo I normally wear on Fridays as well.
