I still have a hard time believing the leap that has occured in this program over the last few years. These three deserve alot of the credit. Benny having a very solid four years, being the go to guy, Little who probably could have been a starter for most Valley teams, accepting coming off the bench for most of his career without complaining and only having the team in mind. Crawford brough defense and a toughness that was needed.

Not the way they wanted to end it but they should be extremely proud of what they accomplished.

      thanks seniors!!!

J Lit saved his best for last.

That's a great example of how someone can turn themselves into a higher level of player with hard work and persistence. Proud to have had him in a Panther uniform. Same for Benny and Crawford.

The three senior Panthers had great careers. It's hard to believe we'll never see them again in the purple and gold. They sure made quite a run, but fell just a little short, again. Overall, they've been exceptional players for UNI. The Panthers are back, and next year is going to be just as exciting. See everyone in November!

UNI will be better next season

The Panthers lose Jacobson, Crawford, and JLit, however Coleman is back, Travis is going to fill in Jacobson or Crawford's role, and they have two impressive recruits coming in which includes Kwadzo, and that 7 footer from Cedar Rapids? Stout comes back for his Senior season as well as Brooks McKowen. Viet, Josten, Griffin, Williams, Santos also return. Not having Viet this season hurt the Panthers a little bit. The Panthers should return to the dance again.

This group of seniors will be missed! Benny J, what can we say, you were the first Mac recruit and took a chance on a program that was at the bottom of the Valley and you've taken us to places we had only dreamed about. Crawford transferred in and right away you could see what he brought to the program. A kid with the versatility to shoot the 3-ball and to defend anyone from a point guard to a 5-man...what a competitor. John Little, the progress you've made in your game over the last 4 years is truly amazing. We all knew you could defend...and you did it well...but yesterday was the culmination of your offensive maturation. Knocking down 3's and the head fake, dribble and tear drop jumper from 12 feet are fun to watch. Thanks for being the spark plug for the Panthers.

To all of the kids coming back. Use this loss as motivation and work hard in the off-season to get back to this place again and we WILL WIN an NCAA game for these 3 kids. We will maintain and grow this program even more to show that the work they've done with you over the last 3 years was to build a long lasting program that will be strong for years to come! GO PANTHERS and I can't wait until UW-Milwaukee to open the "MAC" next season!

Thanks again to all of the players, managers, coaches and administrators! It's been another fun ride and hopefully we'll do it again!

It is kind of sad we will never get get to see Ben Jacobson take a last second shot, on the shot clock, with four other people open, and miss it! I will forever keep those memories in my heart. Bye, bye. What is Ben Jacobson's degree by the way? He will need it!

Way to show some class!! Dumping on a guy that poured his heart and soul into a dead program and helped to revive it. What a joke!! Why don't you crawl back into the hole you came out of! You classless SCUM!!

I'm all for differences of opinion, but anyone who would post that kind of garbage is just plain sick... Even if he/she/it is a "DIE HARD" panther fan.

If Front Row Panther has children I hope he never reads a comment like the one that is written here about him or her. To berate a young man as quality as Ben only tells me the writer does not know him, his family or his intentions.
My prayer tonight is that Chris, Maria, grandpa Bob, uncle Bill or sibling EJ and Sam do not read this thread.
Offended for myself, no. Disappointed that someone would write this about a young man, yes.
