A lot depends on the non-conference portion of the schedule. Win the games we should, steal a few on the road (Bucknell, Iowa) and beat Iowa State in the Dome and that would be a good start. Then, going 11-7 or 12-6 in the Valley would be nice. I'd like to beat Creighton once next season...they annoy me Going 12-6 means winning 9 at home and stealing 3 on the road. I would like to believe we could win at Illinois State, Evansville and Indiana State...maybe even eeeek one out at Drake again for 4 road wins. Then, hold serve at home. MUCH easier said than done. But it's fun to think about. I'm going to just cheer like heck for the kids on the roster and the new additions. GO PANTHERS!!!

Bucknell will be pretty soft next year with the losses that they'll suffer. That doesn't mean that they won't be tough, though. Winning at Iowa is a real possibility with the losses that they will have, and Iowa State really doesn't scare me that much either. So, yeah... I agree. If we win what we should, we should only have 1 or 2 non-conference losses next year, setting us up for another run at a bid if we can represent well in Valley play. Cheers to that!

Don't forget that Loyola is going to be sick next year with their talent. The game is at Loyola, so it will be difficult to get a win there.
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

I forgot about Loyola...I thought they underachieved in the Horizon this season. Did they have mid-season injuries? We've played over there once already...is this going to be a longterm series?

Not exactly sure about injuries, but that's a tough league. Blake Schilb was named honorable mention All America this year, and he's back next year. That's quite an accomplishment for a player from a small school. They also play in a gym where the crowd is right on top of the players, it's about the size of your average DSM area high school arena. That could be a tough road matchup for us next year.
