This is going to be an interesting year. The first half, I really was thinking: Wow, our team is legit. Our inside play is unreal - I think the Valley is going to struggle trying to shut that down. But our perimeter play seems pretty bad. Just like last year, we blew plenty of WIDE OPEN three-point looks...not what you like to see. Hopefully as the year goes on, somebody will emerge as THE perimeter player.
I also give Jacobsen props - I think he's done a good job thus far. And I'm really impressed by those freshman...

Idolize definitely isn't the right word since I use to babysit for him and watched him grow up, but I have never not admitted there is a bias to my thoughts. He took 5 shots, not 15 and needs to remain at least a threat from the perimeter. His career makes an interesting case study in my opinion. Do the other things he brings to the floor offset his struggles shooting? I think the success of the team while he has manned the point say yes.
