I was a senior in high school, we watched that game at a friend's house- "oh Newby" said the announcer as he let it fly..and swish. Jacobson shot and Stouts last year from 3 point line (i was sitting in line with the ball straight behind Stout) were memorable. Oh yeah , And Turner to Reese full court I think to beat Wis.Green Bay in the MidContinent tournament the Dome were awesome.Kaboom Kabullseye

Remember...for some great fun, click the link on the first thread.
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.Comment

I was teaching at a Middle School at the time of the UNI-Missouri game and almost every classroom had a TV on. When Newbys shot went in it felt like the whole building shook.Comment
