What he was saying is true. He was saying that the teams from the Valley have a hard time scheduling schools from larger conferences to come and play in their venues. Drake and UNI have a unique situation where Iowa and ISU come to play them. You don't see a lot of schools from the "Power conferences" play a lot of out of conference road games at non-neutral courts.

Yes Matt you are right. But that feeds into the false notion that the "Big" conferences are that much better than the Valley and that those games/teams are more important. They are "Power Conferences" in name only.

The problem with the video feed is this...you get at home what they show on the video board in the arena. That's going to work okay for football, but pretty poorly for basketball.

NB - Do you think there is any way they could change it??

Okay I lied, I have more to say and that is this; Eric Coleman is a friggin man beast. Those two dunks were freakin amazing I remember some awesome dunks he had two season ago when I was there in person and it really got the crowd going. Man I wish I could have been there. That atmosphere the second half seemed amazing. Anyone who was at the game care to share?

Secondly Brooks McKowen finally broke out, I've been waiting for this since he got to UNI four years ago. I knew that he had this in him, considering how well he played in H.S. and it was just a matter of time before he broke out and blew up. Man What a game, I don't think I'll be able to sleep for at least an hour.

EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE PANTHERS. Keep the momentum rolling into next week's show down with the SUCKEYES!!!! IT's going to be awesome when we sweep this year.

I have watched at least a dozen of other school's CSTV video feed and all have been from the in-house scoreboard with the audio feed over the top.

It isn't the best, but it is better the the alternative...nothing.

Has anyone heard the attendance number? I heard KB and GR speculate about 10K a couple of times but I never heard anything official.

this is why I wanted to try it out first before I just paid.

didn't they have the CSTV feed for any of the previous games while it was still free? I'm sure I heard other people complaining about the replays.


the only way I can think of fixing it would be if they could somehow split the feed, with the videoboard feed having the replays added after the split, and the CSTV feed keeping with the live stuff.

or they could just reduce the number of replays that they show.
replays in football = good. but how many people actually watch the replays when they're at the game? I know I never do.
