I'm resigned to the fact he'll never be a 3-pt threat, but if he can nail his free throws, he can be a real difference maker on penetration drives.
He started out the game not too hot at the line, but I believed he finished like 7 or 8 of 12.

I think he only attempted 1 three today and it was an NBA range shot and missed it.

Are you able to have more than 1 medical redshirt? Not saying it's coming to that, but apparently he has some recurring issues that are a big problem.

I think it's possible, but you have to reaaaaaaally pester for it. Like, you have to be out for the whole year, with hardly any practices, etc. They don't like to hand these out like they do the first year medical reds. If he does get that, by the way, there'd be seven members of that class. The four currently there, Wentzien, McDermott, and Lohaus.

I thought Jake said he's "day to day." Are we just making more of this due to his situation last season?

I mean I think he will play. But after the start of the year it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't.

On the bright side, it's not his ankle this time. I thunk they're just being extra cautious with it. The main thing has to be having him for conference play.

In Wyatt's case yes, since he never took a regular redshirt, Jacqui Kalin did it.

No, we're just making more of it because that's what we do here on PN. Nothing to do with last year.

A bit off topic, but those uniforms were just temporary throwbacks right?

Whatever the case, they look damn sharp and its a classic style. MUCH better than what we have now. These need to be permanent, our look has been trending downwards by trying to keep up with the new Nike models. At the very least I want to see them again

They were a 1 time thing and were all auctioned off during the game yesterday.

That's what I thought, bummer. It was really refreshing to see the full "Northern Iowa" and colored border on the outside imo. The new style is just totally meh to me

I can see why the McDermott transfer was talked about so much here.

                          that’s right. I am here.

If you know you're disliked so much, why do you hang around?

R&B is obviously a cynic, but I have never understood all the animosity towards him. Guess people don't realize how good this board has it with optimistic posters, cause I've seen a hell of a lot worse.

No problem for me to have someone to offer an adverse opinion occasionally and level out the hype.

There's a whole lotta white space between hype and R&B's overt negativity.

Let's not paint this board as having blinders on because posters don't want to entertain that nonsense.
