Up Next: Xavier

['70 Grad]

Xavier fan here respect for your guys. It has taken us 30 years to go from the MCC/Horizon to the A10 and now to the Big East. You guys have had some success in the MVC and look to compete for that title again this year. Beat Kansas again or similar (as long as it isn't us) for another Sweet 16, keep getting recruits, do things the right way ... no reason you can't have success where you'll scoff at being called a mid-major.
Our defense: Pack line man-to-man D and some options like our becoming famous 1-3-1 where our length will disrupt.

Look forward to meeting some of you on Friday.

Welcome and thank you for the report.

Sounds like Xavier is gonna be full strength. Makes it all the better when we beat them, haha! (Oh boy, it's gonna get rough.)

[sevelev711]

Xavier is in fact expected to be at full strength today. So yay, but also, boo.

Full strength, schmull strength. Bring it on!

Shockers trailing at home against FGCU as an opening act to our game on CBS Sports.

[Codytwo]

FGCU is looking good.

[Trapped in California]

Kevin Boyle just complemented the UNI marketing program for filing the building on the pregame. Someone call the swat team, obviously Kevin is a hostage with a gun to his head.

General Admission's actually filling pretty nicely. The corners cheapseats are completely filled, 22 minutes before tip-off.

Student section looks 75% at 7:40

No band here

[Codytwo]

I sure hope WSU loses in regulation and there’s no OT!

[skydog0784]

Crowd looks great based on the quick opening camera shots

Looks like some great energy in the McLeod Center. Panthers off to a pretty good start.

[sivert]

Very nice first five minutes. In their heads.

Not sure this small lineup can match up. Probably need either Pickford or Brown in there.
