It's getting national attention, too... already. Massive, massive kudos to the marketing department. Can't wait to see how they pull this off.

It's crazy what a competent AD can do. And... they're promoting it a month ahead of time. I feel like David just had his team throw stuff out there the day before and hope that people would find out. This is fantastic.

As anticipated, the Feb 2 home game with Bradley has been selected for ESPN2.

Let's hope we can get some bodies in seats so it doesn't look completely embarrassing.

Couple of TV and game time updates--

This Sunday's Bradley game is officially on ESPN2.

Saturday, February 8th vs Illinois State will be a 5:00 tip on ESPNU.

Unsurprisingly, our Feb 16th game with Murray was not picked up for linear TV (Bradley at Drake is that day) and that game will tip at 4:00 on ESPN+.

Everything is now locked in for the remainder of the year other than the last day of the regular season at Bradley which will definitely be selected by either ESPN2 or CBS Sports Net.

I'm assuming all the Sunday games(and a lot more Tuesday this year as well) are TV related?

Really sucks to only have 1 Saturday home game in 2025. Probably the best attended game for a good game but would have been nice to have one more game for people to come out to if the team is playing well.

Yep.

TV runs the world on the weekend and we're seeing more Tuesdays than Wednesdays because they're bundling the two Iowa games when they can do that other teams only have to take one flight so those become Saturday/Tuesday.

Same thing they do for us and Drake for the Murray/Belmont trip (Drake didn't play at Belmont this year but point stands)

I'm too scared to start the game thread, but appears game against Murray State has been moved back to 6 pm due to a continued power outage on campus from this weekend.

Women's game was delayed a couple of hours yesterday as well. I did not watch yesterday so logistically I'm not sure how they played it, but they did while the outage was presumably still going.

Murray at Belmont gets the CBS Sports Net slot at 2:00.

It looks like we're right on the NIT bubble according to the few NIT bracketology sites I could find. It will make the NIT Selection Show this Sunday a little more interesting...
