I know it doesn't mean a ton with the portal but here are the NETs of the known teams so far--

Northern Illinois 298
North Texas 79
Montana 144
Milwaukee 214
Omaha 270

So much more balance and being at home is going to matter for this team

Milwaukee game moved up to Nov 7th due to some kind of scheduling conflict.

Have also been told that North Texas is negotiating buying out the return trip so that game may not happen.

I’m guessing North Texas was on pace to be our best non conference home game, so they better open up the wallet if they want out of this one.

Two game bracket in Orlando on ESPN with North Texas (now totally makes sense why the home game isn't happening), St Bonaventure and Utah State.

ESPN is running another 4 team tournament at the same site at the same time with Florida, Minnesota, Wake Forest and Wichita.

I really like this. It's creative and gets us good games.

Those are winnable quality games. That's exactly what we need this year.

If we're bad, so be it. But there's nothing more frustrating that having a good team and still needing a lot of luck to bounce your way in the non-conference.

New Exhibition Rules passed today.

Every school is allowed 2 intrasquad and 2 games against NCAA teams, including DI. All can be open to the public and tickets can be sold.

We'll see how Jake tackles that.

Heard on the radio about press reports that the NCAA is in serious discussions to expand the NCAA bball tourney by four to eight teams, as early as next season. The hosts guessed this is all about generating more revenue since most D1 teams will need to start paying players. I’d guess this is similar reasoning. It will mean two more home games for many P6 teams where they sell tickets, food, parking, etc.
