This Toledo game is very interesting. They shoot a very high percentage from 3, but it appears that's due to them not taking that many, as they have one of the lowest ratios 3PA/FGA in the country. Only one guy has taken more than 18 3s all season. They also are built very similarly to UNI last year as far as not starting anyone over 6'8" and their only 6'10" guy plays VERY sparingly. Should be another very good test for the guys, hopefully they can steal this one and take care of business with the buy games so things are rolling going into a game at an improved Northern Illinois team and then into conference play!

Also, Toledo gets to the line a lot. FTA/shots taken = 0.362
For UNI that's 0.268.
Makes sense if they play small and run a lot and shoot 2s.
Fits what I've thought a quick guard like Bowen could focus on - generating fouls. Should be interesting to watch.
Be prepared for very unevenly called fouls by number.

I don’t know about Toledo but NIU is pretty good this year. They have traditionally been absolute trash but they have turned the corner this year. We need Toledo.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View PostThis Toledo game is very interesting. Schedule wise I like what we're doing with games versus AAC, A10 and the MAC. I wouldn't mind seeing some MWC or WCC teams too. This is what it takes to get us ready for the 20 in the MVC and Arch Madness. St. Louis is what matters the most, now.Last edited by BrockLesnar; 12-08-2023, 02:47 AM.

The MAC is in the Big Ten consortium so officiating is going to be an adventure tomorrow afternoon. All that money in the Big Ten and it's won't spend it on officiating.Originally posted by achrist70 View PostWe need another great effort if we are going to put together a win streak. Can we defend without fouling?

I haven't looked it up but I believe that would be correct.Originally posted by Schack View Post
I think it would be a Quad 2 win?
