  • Game 6 - Loyola - Nov 25

We're gifted two games in two days this week, allowing us to watch this team continue to do its thing together. As stated in other threads, we cannot afford any letdowns in this game. Loyola will surely be looking to create something positive for them, but we have to bury them and not look back.

Thankfully, our defensive effort hasn't lacked in any of our games thus far. Go Panthers!

Loyola is a team with absolutely no confidence right now and we've got a ton. Fast start, don't let them hang around.

NO TV for this one in the year of our lord two thousand and twenty five. It's ridiculous.

      ESPN lists “CBSSN” - no?

BC posted about it in the schedule thread. Seems like CBSSN pulled broadcasting the early games and is only doing the later games.

Someone going to the game should set up a tripod and a phone and live stream this on youtube or something, not that it's probably illegal or whatever, but still... haha.

Not sure how we are in 2025 and cannot have a live stream of something like this. Ridiculous.

Heck, the CBS app lists CBS Sports Net but it's not happening.

These events never, ever seem to have their **** together once you get outside the ESPN owned or other established events.

          Wednesday WILL be televised.

TV listings now show soccer on CBS Sports during our game time tomorrow. It does still show our game (win or lose) on Weds, as BC mentioned.

Feels like a trap game. I doubt Loyola is as bad as they've played so far, and you know they are desperate for a positive result and feel like they are playing with house money. We've been on the other side of a few of these in the past. We have much more to lose here.

Unreal that there isn't even like a FloSports stream or something here. It is 2025. High school games are streamed.

Tulsa blowing out San Jose St. Obviously worth about Loyola first, but if we can take this one, that should be a decent opponent tomorrow.

A little interesting, we opened as 8.5 point favorites, but the line is down to 6.5 now.

Aren't those lines adjusted to prompt betting?
                    "Well, that escalated quickly."

That's good to hear. That Tulsa game would be the best game we've played so far. They're 91 in KenPom. We're sitting at 93.

Maybe, if the book has a position themselves on the game. Otherwise it's probably in response to the money coming in.

Yea, lines move based on $. Vegas wants the same amount of money on each side, so they win no matter what. I saw it at 8.5 this morning, then 8 a while later and a big move late, which is kind of odd. Sure, it probably means nothing, but it was likely a large bet on Loyola to move the line that much so late. I was also worried about a late injury that popped up, that will move the line too.

It's a shame we haven't found a way to capture moving pictures of an event. Feels like the 90s again.

Sounds like another great defensive start.
