  • Game 8 - Coe - Dec 1

Even though this game doesn't mean much, it'll be nice to have some Panther basketball tonight. Saw that UNI canceled classes today, but still seems like the game is on for tonight. Hopefully the roads aren't too dreadful in CF. Go Panthers!

had a late work appointment so unable to make the drive into CF tonight. watching on TV and this is an example of how we should play in this game. Courbat sighting in the first half... it's a pretty sleepy arena from the looks of it...lets save all the juice for Saturday vs Wichita is not a State.

Some early minutes for Chase Courbat. His post game looks really good, then I gotta remind myself this is a D3 school lol.

1k points club for Trey Campbell on that free throw. Congrats!

            Woo woo, we're winning!

This was a fantastic choice of a game before our next few, granted, I'd rather it be a D1, but we'll take it I suppose. Shake the rust off after a little break and get ready to make a run till conference play.

Concerned that Will appears to be being held out of the 2nd half here.

I am expecting this is not unlike last week. No reason for him to go back into this game. Izzy and Chase getting opportunities is much more important for this team.

Geon is gonna be such a good player as he develops. Really hope he sticks around.

I really think Geon is better than Max. You could see it during the Tulsa game we played better when Geon was in. It makes me think back to when Tywon was a senior and Tytan was a freshman because I felt the same then.

Twisted an ankle. Decided to get treatment right away rather than playing. Would have come back in if it was a 'normal' game. Nothing to be concerned with.

The faithful who were there were neither passive nor subdued. They witnessed an energized player performance 1 through 40 minutes from both starters and subs. Trey gets his 1,000th career point, which was boisterously cheered. Fantastic postgame radio interview with a very-well-spoken Courbat. If there’s not a massive turnout vs the Shockers Saturday, shame on us.

Saw on social media that this was the biggest blowout win in program history. So there's that.

And fewest points given up in a game since the 40s.

There was some value in getting Courbat and Geon extended game minutes even if the competition was non-existent.
