Game 12 - at Saint Mary's - Dec. 22

Well, this will arguably be our toughest game of the season, and I think we all would expect to walk out with an L on the schedule for this one. However, if the stars align and we can get some real offensive flow against them, we have a chance I would think. I know our defense will be present, but we cannot have lapses like we did against UIC against this team, they're just too good for that to be the case.

Currently, Saint Mary's is receiving votes in the AP poll and has a NET of 26.

We are -12.5 underdogs tonight, which seems like a huge number, considering we are 9-2 with some good wins already. Going to be a tough one, especially down our two guards.

Probably a game where we have to actually hit a bunch of threes to win.

They are insanely long on the wing and they play 3 different 7 footers including a 7-4 kid.

12.5 is a stretch as the metrics all have it as about an 8 point game. We'll have to have our best offensive game of the year and knock down 3s to win.

Their two losses are a blowout to Vandy and a one point neutral loss to Boise and they've played a great schedule.

Now that things are settling in, we cannot let off the gas. Good start so far. Need California Kyle to make an appearance on offense eventually too.

If we can keep turning Saint Mary's over and capitalizing, I think that will be the difference here. We're not going to be able to keep Saint Mary's from scoring in moments, but clogging those passing lanes has helped early.
