Gotta give it to Bradley, they certainly wanted it. I am grateful the clock hit zero as we were struggling. I am not sure if it was exhaustion or what, but dang, we almost gave it away. I am so happy for the Panthers as they are playing their best basketball right now (other than the last few minutes of today's game). Can't wait for tomorrow!

Just like the entire season has been, that game was a rollercoaster of emotions. I knew Bradley was gonna make it a game going into halftime. I didn't expect of all our players that the one to step up the most to prevent losing this game would be RJ Taylor. He is the player of the tournament for us so far. Just incredible fight and will to pull this out.
I said on Thursday to my brother and sister that if UNI found a way to the championship game Sunday we were going to go. Wasn't confident at all it would actually happen, and yet here we are. Now I leave for St. Louis in 4 hours and will be at the game to hopefully watch our first championship since 2016. Go Panthers!Last edited by GarretW1797; 03-07-2026, 09:40 PM.

got sloppy late in the second half but the effort on the defensive end was elite. we've been fouling a ton...or getting called for a a lot of fouls (some earned, some dumb, and some i think due to the officials trying to reign us in, but i'll take that as a side effect of how hard we're playing. keep knocking down shots, keep attacking the rim and good things will happen.
RJ has been so big the last couple days,
Should be a heck of a game tomorrow... the styles make fights...first team to 60 wins type of day on tap.
lets win one more

My timing was actually off, in part to forgetting about daylight savings for a minute. We're planning to leave at 3:30. I do live in the area though, in Evansdale about 20 minutes from the McLeod.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View Post

Glad you're making the trip! The early tip does make it challenging for someone to make the long drive the day of, glad you committed to it!Originally posted by GarretW1797 View Post

Definitely wish the tip was at 1 like years past, but at least I'll be back early enough to still get to work Monday morning lol. But yeah, this will be my first time there since 2015. Me and my siblings and my grandpa went 6 straight years from 2010-2015 and spent the whole weekend there each time.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View Post
