  • Arch Madness Game 3 - March 7 - Bradley

First time since the 18-19 season that we have won two games at the Arch. Might as well win this one too. Question is, who will have more energy? Bradley is coming off their 2 OT win and because of that, we had to play until after 11 PM. Thankfully, Hornseth and Smith got some good rest because of foul trouble. Go Panthers!

Also, in reading the Bradley board, apparently this game is going to be an easy one for them. No rationale for us being favored in their opinion. They're the better team. Blah blah blah. Are we the only ones who remember what happened a few weeks ago?

They literally couldn't score and we're playing better defensively now. Have fun I guess.

I was pretty indifferent to who won between Valpo and Bradley yesterday. I don't think we have played well against Valpo at all this year. I think we have played two of our better games against Bradley.

When we went to their place, their arena was rocking and we didn't have Hornseth or Smith and hung with them till the very end. At our place we absolutely manhandled them. Obviously that doesn't really mean anything for today, but I bet our guys have some good confidence going into this matchup.

Let's hope we see the kind of defensive intensity we had last night. Jonovic is going to be a lot down low, but he's banged up. Jaquan has always been a tough cover for us, but we did well last game. Max and Leon are going to be all over Huigbretse trying to make sure he's not open at the perimeter.

Let's win and play again tomorrow.

Bradley had 2 players over 40 minutes yesterday, and 3 more over 30. We also had 3 over 30.

Great start! Two fouls on the oaf is huge.

                  Oh my goodness!
                  Don't wake up!
The worst thing that could have happened to us is having to take a halftime.

Should have been up 20 at half. We’re in trouble

Finding a way to answer each mini-run by Bradley. 3 of Smith’s 4 fouls were completely avoidable; he’s gotta know he’s especially important to this team and can’t be making dumb plays like that in a tournament situation like this. Frustrating

Bradley throwing all the punches and so far we've absorbed them. They weren't going to lay over. Keep grinding it out!!

A little too strong? That pass came in at the top of the backboard.
