Twenty-one signees yesterday …

”The 2023 early signing class includes 19 high school signees and 2 transfer students representing 9 different states, with 8 players hailing from Iowa. UNI picked up 5 linebackers, 4 offense and defensive linemen, 3 defensive backs, 2 wide receivers, one quarterback, one defensive end and one tight end.”

I thought we'd see a couple more transfers signed. Perhaps we still will.

I suspect we're finding it's very competitive to get transfers in the portal.

Every FBS and FCS program has realized you have to use the portal to add talent to stay competitive...or you're putting yourself at a significant disadvantage. You're gonna lose players...so you have to add talent to offset it.

And Farley is looking for transfers who can help in year 1. Those guys are not easy to get anymore.

Lose Quan Hampton, Deion McShane to graduation. And Terrence Kamara to portal.

Also lost Udoibok to portal but he never really got into the rotation.

I think Logan Wolf is coming back but sounds like that's not a 100% lock.

perhaps the biggest signing of the class.

4* WR from Florida coming out of high school, should have 3 years left.

The program and AD need to start a Payton campaign for Theo starting with Spring ball and pimp the **** out of it until the award is given out next year.
