Sorry for the delay. Zens is a big get. Very talented kid who is anywhere around 6'7"-6'8" and can really score. I attached a highlight video below and you can get a good sense for his game. On top of the offers he had already received, Wisconsin, Iowa, and others were also keeping an eye on him going into his senior season.

To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

I also really enjoy this video from the state tournament. You will hear some familiar names. Knueppel is the younger brother of Kon who just was at Duke and was a top 10 pick in the draft. Zens also makes a play against Momcilovic who is the younger brother of Milan from Iowa State. You can really tell from the video that Zens and Knueppel are the focal points of the team.

As of now, we have 6 open offers that we are aware of. We have a handful of offers out to ball handling guards and I really like all of them. Kingston Whitty is probably my favorite of the group but Julian Washington is a stud as well. Eli Sancomb is a big ball handling guard and appears to be a great distributor. We also have offers out to Joe Sterling who is a lethal shooter and Denton Forsythe feels like a UNI kid even if he is all the way in Oklahoma. He's a gritty tough defensive kid.
William Gerdes is the interesting one to me. He had a couple bigger offers early with Iowa and Nebraska, but has since not gotten much traction. I do think that Cedar Falls's system is not ideal for blowing up the recruiting scene which makes it all the more important to really tear up AAU ball. He's the biggest kid we have an offer out to, though. His most recent offer is Youngstown St. It feels a bit like Cade Coubat's recruiting path and I'm curious if Nebraska's offer is still active. Iowa's isn't because it was made when Fran was there.
It's a very interesting group, and this is the first time I can remember where almost all of the recruits that have gone elsewhere have ended up at high majors.
