Should be a good one, at a minimum. I'm convinced they're going to sell out the joint too.

Nice win, and awesome for Gollhofer to put the exclamation mark on it. Wish I could have been there. Place had to have been going nuts when Realbuto got that 4th stall call.

Hopefully we can use Wisconsin to sharpen up a little bit. Didn't feel like Downey and Runyon needed to lose to their opponents today, but I know Iowa State is feeling the same about Paniro lol

How did the tattoo thing go? Was the idea that anyone could stop by and get a quick UNI tattoo before/during the dual? Saw Isaiah Patton was one of the artists - pretty cool

Was able to watch a replay.

Farber didn't feel like he lost 8-0. Was in on some shots but couldn't ever finish anything. Maybe that's Frost's game - guys can get to his legs but he's extremely tough to finish on, I don't know.

Realbuto was similar - couldn't finish his early shots. That comeback was something else, though. I sort of understand the people who didn't think the last stall was legit - you could call that "action" as he's trying to get away from Realbuto but dramatically trying to get away while going out of bounds, while already getting dinged for stalling 3 times probably means you're gonna get hit again.

                    Chittum is pretty solid.

Gollhofer's pin was pretty nasty. Gets the takedown, 4 swipes, looks around the arena nodding his head, and finishes the pin

Takedowns and Tattoos looked to be a big success. People had to register prior to the event. Eight people were chosen; they had to sign waivers for UNI and the Honey and Vinegar tattoo shop; and they had to agree to receive their free tattoo between 11 am and 3 pm, meaning some would be getting their tattoo during the actual match going on below. Participants could choose from six different UNI-themed tattoos, including the current logo, vintage Panther-crossing-the-Dome, Ever Loyal, etc. Tattoos were placed on arms or legs only. Lots of people observing the tattoo activity in the NE corner of the concourse prior to the meet. Great marketing idea and it supported former Panther wrestler/tattoo artist Isaiah Patton!

Been a little sick since Monday so I'm late commenting, but just about everything on Sunday went great. The tattoo thing was so insane it completely worked, beat state shirts were great for students, the students themselves were great, fans were great, and the win was great.

Photos are here, in case you haven't seen any yet.

Realbuto's match obviously stole the show, but Simma's and Thomsen's win were big too. Happel's win was important for seeding at Big 12's (though off the top of my head I don't know if Frost gets the 3rd or 4th spot now...I'll figure that out later). I need to go back and rewatch the dual since I was running around a lot and kind of missed a bunch of action, but it was a great atmosphere.

And this is going to sound petty, but the bowl wasn't *quite* full. There were a number of empty seats, especially behind press row and behind the commentators.

HOWEVER it is really cool to see all the standing-room only folks at the top of the arena on the concourse, then the fancy (I kid, I kid) folks on top of them in the suites. Especially when you're on the floor, it just adds to the feeling of claustrophobia and puts more pressure on everyone.

Some of the empty seats in the bowl due to people that would rather stand - they were up on the concourse? I have no idea.
Frankly, I was surprised that the bleachers were not in place above the alumni suite and used. I thought that they needed to be filled in order to get over 7,000.

There was some sort of private-ish event going on where the bleachers usually are. No idea what it was.
