What is the timetable on making his decision?

Nice to still be in the running.

I thought I heard he was deciding by the end of July.

From what I have seen of this kid I think he would be a perfect fit for us. Long with a good outside shot, and can still go down low. Reminds me of a couple of brothers we have had at UNI.

Also glad to see no Creighton on the list.

Looking at the other thread, Cougill is out now for the year. Uthoff could be offered more minutes with Iowa as there are only 3 players left on the team, right?

Cougill will be back by the next year. And it depends if he wants to win?

I don't think Cougill will be back.

Uthoff has a really smooth stroke. He appears more "with it" at this point in his summer games than Buss.

Glad to be in the running.

                      Is this Dean Uthoff's kid?

I am wondering if this puts Iowa off the list. They are even less competitive than they were before.

If he wants to win then he should say no to Iowa if he just wants minutes then Iowa would be an option.

How depressing would it be to go to Iowa or ISU at this point and lose so many games every year. Neither team looks to turn things around in the near future.

I am sure they are telling Uthoff that he is the key to turning things around. I hope he knows it is going to take a lot more than him.

As for UNI well he could step right in and win and help take us to the elite eight or final four. Before last season that last line would have seemed ridiculous now it seems very possible.

                            Is that what you think?

I think these are some good points but could you not say the same thing about Butler? He could step right in for Hayward.
