I will say it didn't look that bad on the replay, looked like he was making sure the guy couldn't get his arms back to the ball. Live, looked like he took a swing.

Stat line was good, but I'm curious on thoughts from those who watched the game

As open as the uni receivers were I think Kollmorgan would have destroyed cp. I still think uni is going to be in games that require a very accurate arm, SK would still be my pick.

        Cal Polly looks awful.

At first he's pushing the guy off of Dexter. Some more pushing happens, another Cal Poly guy gets involved and Dorleant takes a swing at someone. Dumb dumb dumb

I think he looked pretty good. He's made some nice plays and throws while escaping pressure. Throws have been pretty good other than about 2-3 overthrows on deep balls.

Stat line would be better if receivers had held on to the ball when they could have.
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

Could be, but keep in mind that a running threat QB can force that too. Teams are more likely to play a cover 4 or shell type defense so that multiple players have eyes on the QB.

                • What an impressive two weeks of football. Those are HUGE wins.

All of the sudden, this season has real potential.

Some of the depression after week one has certainly subsided. I'm still very cautious about showing any optimism.

Just recover the onside kick, and go to the victory formation

See my posts post Iowa State. It takes a while to implement a new offense, new assistants, Bailey to get comfortable, etc. Not saying UNI could go beat the Patriots, but you can't expect robotic precision the first game.

Win one of the next two games and that would set up the rest of the season nicely.

                              • Didn't play great but we got a great win. Very encouraged by the way this team has turned things around the last couple weeks after the first week debacle. This coming from a guy that was very down on this team after the ISU loss.
