***Game Thread SDSU, Week 8*** Rabbit Season***

[Pant8her]

Welcome to Homecoming week "There's no place like home...

Well that use to be the way it was....

Can UNI pull off the upset of the Number 2 team in the country (by many polls)?

Can the team play all four quarters and pull it out returning to championship style of play (since this is likely a playoff game, at least a step to it)?
Last week UNI finally finished well in the game on the road, now it is time to step it up!

Here is hoping that the UNI offense can score at will and the defense stifles the Jackrabbits!

SDSU---
UNI-------

So it's Rabbit Season... Duck Season...

Rabbit Season... Duck Season...Rabbit Season... Duck Season... kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit!

GO PANTHERS!

Hoping to see a Homecoming victory. If we play ALL four quarters well unlike NDSU game this will be a battle till the final seconds tick off.

Looking forward to a complete game victory. Last time they came to Iowa, they only played a few minutes and then went home!

Grass lots closed again. 50 mph wind gusts tomorrow.

Man, just been a bummer of year for tailgating.

[run&blade]

Been to some Iowa state tailgates this year that looked like a mud bog but tailgating went on.

How wet can they be?

the grass isn’t used for anything. Does it really matter if they get abused?

[Alum 99']

So windy Porta Potties blowing over......

[run&blade]

Wind is putting us in a bar. Two years in a row the tailgating was poor.

New marketing guy just posted a picture of the garage door entrance on Twitter and said they have something new for the fans today. Hmm...

Other interesting comments on Twitter, as well. New SID in a Twitter conversation and mentioning that the staff has been working their tails off to get things going in the right direction. They welcome emails and visits in the office from people wanting tongive constructive input and ideas.

You blow out the doors by southwest entrance. Replace with glass garage doors. Create a huge area outside those doors with a big beer garden. Big screens of uni game, better food options, and let people take the food and beer back to their seat. Before game they show Iowa/ISU games on big screens. It it catches on you do same with northwest entrance.

I would drop ticket prices or at least stop raising them until uni can compete.

We we have lost 8 of the last 9 to NDSU, it isn’t a rivalry, we are their b$&@!

Beer was a big hit for basketball. Embrace and expand.

[run&blade]

3 man rush sucks. Prevent defense all the time.

it worked last week because South Dakota stinks.

[panther-state]

Keep it rolling Panthers! Wildcat was really effective on that last drive

I missed the opening of the game. What was the "something new for the fans?"

[run&blade]

Farley drawing up a loss in 4th quarter.

Fans sense it.
