At this stage of the game, the points don't matter too much. The majority of players (9) used their 10 and 11 point picks for ISUr and St. Thomas, so those are likely to even out. We will see how it works out for those of you who went another direction. I'm particularly intrigued by achrist70's pick for WIU at 11 points. If it comes down to the last week of the season, that strategy could pay off big time.

I filed a formal complaint with the Mandalay Bay Sportsbook because they wouldn't put the UNI game on the big screen. Regardless, we watched it on my phone at our table anyway!

The next game should spread us out some. Everyone has us picked to win, but confidence points vary from my 2 to several 9's. Hmmm, that doesn't look good for me. I may do some thinking about making a switch. However, if UNI loses, then even though I picked them to win, I will make up lots of ground on some of you. Oh the drama of in-season adjustments of a Confidence Points game.

P.S. I'll probably stick with my hunches. They paid off well yesterday. Most of my Iowa State friends here in Vegas got spooked by the points, went against the good guys, and lost their bets last night. Not me.
