    Basketball introductions

    Why have our starting lineups changed to be almost identical to the Hawkeyes?

    This is a stupid move.

    The pregame video is a nice touch though.

    I saw the video entrance on FB and its pretty sweet. Are we still doing the spotlights?

      I personally like the song we used to play during the intros. The chicago bulls song that we play now is just to slow. The song we used to play had a much better pace, and everyone got involved and everyone clapped with it.

      I do like how they added the video sequence this year though.

        I guess I disagree. I've been wanting them to do the Bulls music for years.

            It's hard to do something "original", but the school we have to copy is Iowa?

                I really don't think they're trying to copy Iowa.

                And years ago they used the Bulls music, too... when we were still in the Dome.

                  I know, but even to start this season we weren't using it. It really seems to drain the energy.

                    I really like the intro. Feels big time. If we were worried about copying people, we wouldn't have an intro. The bulls song is used by about 50 Div 1 programs across the nation. Some version of jock jams is used by the other 297 teams.

                      It's like the Alma Mater at football game....

                      We use the intro video with "dynamite" and the crowd gets into it, then we slow it down with the lineup introduction. Why not keep the energy high?

                            I have always been a big fan of Ram Jam's Black Betty to start any party.
                            Illinois State Fan at a St. Louis White Castle 3:45AM Saturday March 6th:
