it sounds like you should be mad at UNI for not negotiating a better contract.

UNI has very little to zero leverage in this case. We all know it and so do you. The difference is that we (non dual / UNI fans first) don't like the fact that big sister is taking advantage of this fact and chooses to strong-arm UNI. You choose to "laugh" at this fact and throw it in our faces.

I agree if they are going to do it in Des Moines, it needs to be a Tournament set up and thats it. IF its not going to be a tournament then I don't agree with it.

I just know recently there was some pressure with the Wells Fargo Arena wanting to host some Iowa games, and I know that's why Iowa played Creighton there this year. Didn't ISU & Drake play there as well?? I think its them throwing their $$ around trying to get something there in November and December time frame.

I personally do not care what happens, I just do not want to series to end, I hope they keep it going, it will be could for the teams. There are going to be some competitive games coming up in the future.

So has it never happened having all 4 state schools in the NCAA?

A tournament is a stupid idea because it doesn't make sense for UNI to play Drake there or for Iowa to play ISU (those two are always going to play each other outside of the hypothetical tournament either way).

If it has to happen in Des Moines, I'd rather see both Iowa and ISU play both UNI and Drake, but that's not happening, either.

This year was the first time ANY state has had 4 schools in the NCAA. (Ohio)

North Carolina has had to have done it before, I mean they had 5 this year, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, UNC Asheville, and Davidson

This series is good for the state of iowa and it's basketball and since U iowa is in said state of Iowa it is good for the hawkeyes.

On a side note how is that for a sentence!
