SIU was not robbed in that game. KU lead wire to wire. It only kind of got close near the end.

SIU lead by 4 with 8 minutes left after trailing at half and jumping on KU to start the second half. It was back and forth for the next 6 minutes with no one extending beyond 3 points. It was at that point that there were several calls that went KU's way down the stretch including an obvious goaltending that I think would have given SIU the lead late.

A week ago, I would have said Kentucky (and I probably still should), but now that we are raining 3s, I have a lot more hope for us against Kentucky. We will learn a lot when Arkansas plays Kentucky.

Driving through Madison today they talked about how their bench doesn't contribute. They mentioned several times they are susceptible to a team with deep contributing bench.
That, and they feel they're entitled to the final four.

In 04-05, we lost at Southern 76-69 after beating them at home 67-61. 05-06, we won in OT at home 71-65 and lost 46-45 in C-Dale. 06-07 (when SIU was robbed against Kansas in the Tourney) we won 66-61 at home and lost 56-54.

If we end up a 4, I really don't want to see Bowling Green win the MAC tournament and be the 13 we'd see. Chris Jans knows us and would have access to all of Wichita's scouting reports. No thanks.

I think any team seed 9 and lower I fear the most. A mid major or UNI-esque level team will be more than fired up to play a counterpart in the tourney. I know if I was coaching that would be a big message to my team. "that they aren't any different than you" and would be chomping at the bit to prove it. I feel if UNI played a lower seeded BCS school we'd have the confidence and determination much like against KU in 2010, that we can play with the "big boys" Remember, we honestly haven't played anybody in that manner that will be making the tourney. Just my feeling. (Iowa doesn't deserve to be the in the tourney and are a joke, so don't count them).

Keno Davis and Central Michigan are leading the Western standings in the MAC. I guess we can pull for Akron or Toledo
