Gameday at WSU

Take it with a grain of salt or a shot of tequila..whichever...but on shockernet..i've been following it all day and it sounds as if it might actually happen.

Here is the post - From Brian (who only has 45 posts since 2010) I just heard from a very reliable source that "gameday" is for sure coming to the chuck for our beloved Shox vs UNI game!!!! Can't reveal my source.....but It Is going to happen!

Earlier in the thread some who were in the know believed something was fishy with media personalities in relation to the news and were withholding info as the announcement wouldn't be made til Saturday.

take it FWIW, but win Saturday and we might be seeing some great exposure.

Starting about page 8-9 it really starts to get more interesting. Again nothing substantial or official..and i'll hold out my excitement until it is...but who knows.

I think he meant the registering of the domain name and setting up the website

not everyone can be like UNI where the students are so cool that they can't even be bothered to show up to cheer on their top 10 ranked basketball team.

I was referencing the Shockernet posters who repeatedly called it our super bowl after the 1st match up

I don't think this means that the game is their super bowl. They're a mid-major school that is getting the opportunity to be in the national spotlight. They are going to take full advantage of this situation and I respect them for that.

Heck, it has been a while (it feels) since WSU had a game in the conference with this kind of attention, and this much on the line. If both teams take care of their games tomorrow then I will feel it is a super bowl of sorts. HUGE opportunity for both teams. I haven't been this excited over a conference game in a while. I love it!
