Not sure what to make of this game, but if you held a gun to my head, I think Iowa pulls it off.

Would be nice to see the Panthers win and be the only Iowa team make it to the weekend.

Fair enough. You can imagine my embarrassment.

I also started an ISU thread yesterday, didn't make a prediction, and said I was going to start these. The ISU thread is going strong. I thought this sort thing might facilitate discussion (as it has)......my bracket pick for Texas/Butler......not so much.

The computers give Davidson a slight edge. Vegas gives Iowa a slight edge. It's a toss-up.

Sounds like Davidson is similar in style to Stephen F Austin. A bunch of guys between 6'3 and 6'7 who can all run the floor and shoot threes. Should be interesting to watch.

I won't say who I picked because I know how boring it is for some people to hear. I was thinking though that I kind of hope Iowa wins because if they lose I'm afraid all the central iowa news media will head home and not cover UNI if we make the next round. Do they even have credentials to cover UNI these days?

Thankfully the national sports media covers UNI exponentially more than the iowa sports media.

Comon. Everyone was going to send someone to cover UNI, even if Iowa wasn't there. Hell, Marty and Miller were begging to travel with the team two weeks ago, for one.
