I remember how emotional Jake was on the bench the last 3-4 minutes of that loss to Louisville last year.

We all know why. Pitino is the anti-Jake. And Jake wanted to beat his ass.

One of the few times I've seen Jake lose his cool during a game.

Ehh, it would be more so for professional reasons than any kind of, "I'm pure, you're not" type thing. At least, I'd guess so. Pitino is recognized as a coaching icon, hooker scandals aside. What up and coming guy wouldn't want to beat him, and the powerhouse program that Louisville represents?

Taking a guess at the above, but Jake knows enough to know that college sports in general is a big cesspool. To get that worked up about beating one guy for moral reasons is a waste of energy.
