  • The Louisville Scandal

Even though this has very little to do with UNI, other than UNI playing Louisville last year. I'm just wondering what do y'all thinks going to happen to Louisville Men's Basketball? What will happen to one of the greatest scam artists in basketball Pitino? He's been fired from other schools for bringing recruiting allegations to the school.

And I apologize if this is in the wrong area, so tell me if I posted this discussion in the wrong area. And then please correct me in a decent way so for next time I can post in the right area for a discussion like this.

Worst case is Pitino resigns and he gets a raise to coach somewhere else.

A year too late for us.

Imagine the reputation of the league if we hadn't had to play these cheaters the past couple years.

I greatly fear WSU is going to get ousted in the E8/F4 by UNC this year, and then UNC will end up vacating everything when the NCAA finally gets around to them.

LOL, good reference. Pitino doesn't look near as bad as Al Davis did the last 5-10 years of his life, but Pitino also has another 15-20 years before he gets to that point. Give him time

Wow, totally forgot about how 2013 ended for the Shockers. Terrible. 3 guys that killed both of our teams (Smith, Rozier, Montrez-ull) specifically named in the allegations.

Pitino is quite a piece of work.

His quotes in that article are too much.

Cmon Coach...either you knew about if and you're lying your ass off. Or you didn't know about it and you're incompetent for not knowing what's going on in your program which involves 20 players and coaches.

Liar or hack. Which one is it?

                        Reminds me of Macauley Culkin.

Coaches are almost always insane, type A control freaks. It's fairly inconceivable that he wouldn't have known something. If it was a booster or two throwing cash at players, it's possible he wouldn't know. This involves assistant coaches, and hookers in a player dorm. Far harder to keep that under the table. If anything, given the risks, these guys should've procured some better talent

I remember how emotional Jake was on the bench the last 3-4 minutes of that loss to Louisville last year.

We all know why. Pitino is the anti-Jake. And Jake wanted to beat his ass.

One of the few times I've seen Jake lose his cool during a game.

It appears now that Pitino also got the officials hookers before that game as well, explains why we couldn't get a call
